Joyce Ann Barfield

Joyce Ann Barfield, 52, of Pensacola, was granted her angel wings on February 14, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and those who were touched by her agree that her laugh and smile brought so much joy to her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Nellie M. Couch; sisters, Donna A. Evanoff (Steve), Janet A. Harrell, Paula J. Way (Robby) and Connie L. Castleberry (Larry); nephews/nieces, John Casey, John Oswald, Justin Oswald, Heather Hathaway, Rusty Way and Savanah Castleberry; great nephews/nieces, Shayla, Jasmine, Trace, Liam, Taegan, McKinley and Emersyn.

She was preceded in death by father, George Herman Barfield; stepfather, Pete F. Couch; brother, Donnie R. Harrell.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, immediately followed by a service at 2:00 p.m.

Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Joyce was such a beautiful person. I will miss her coming into Capstone with her smile, laughter, hugs and jokes. Seeing her always made my day! My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family and friends during this difficult time.
