Juanita Ethelyn Davis

Nita was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Victor C. Davis. She is survived by her children and spouses: Bill & Cherri Davis (Pensacola, FL), Ronnie & Lynne Davis (Dacula, GA), and Kathy & Zane Smith (Pensacola). She is also survived by grandsons: Sean Davis, Kevin Davis and Alyn Davis; granddaughters: LeAnne Haley, Jana Davis and Felisha Wilcox; great granddaughters: Kayla, Ashley, Jasmine, Alexis, Ariah, Jadah and Raynah; and one great-great granddaughter: Alissa.

Nita was one of 13 children and she has one surviving sister, Mary Lee Reeves (age 77). Coming from such a large family she is survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Nita’s hobbies were: bowling (twice a week at Circle Bowling Lanes), cross stitching baby quilts and going to the casino in Biloxi once a month. She also had a “Green Thumb” and loved her plants.

Nita was loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 12:30 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM- 12:30 prior to the service. Burial will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery.
