Julia Elizabeth Mooney

She met her husband, Pat, while bartending at the Executive Club in 1978. They were married in 1984 and celebrated 38 anniversaries together.

Julia (Julie) loved being outdoors. She enjoyed many summers on Pensacola Beach and many falls in the Smoky Mountains with her family. She loved cooking and taking care of her family and she enjoyed growing vegetables in her backyard.

She was a devoted housewife to Pat and mother to Heather and Patrick. She was a loving grandmother to Charles, Lillian, Elizabeth, and Oliver. She spent her time caring for all of those around her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and HB and her siblings, Michael, Nancy, and Martha, her niece Darla, and her nephew BB.

Julie is survived by her husband, Pat Mooney, her children, Heather Whitfield and Patrick Mooney, her grandchildren, Charles McKnight, Lillian McKnight, Elizabeth Whitfield, and Oliver Mooney. She is also survived by her oldest and last remaining sibling, Brenda Bazzelle along with a host of family and friends, and her fur babies Molly and Tiger

Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service for Julia. It will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Bayview Memorial Park, 3351 Scenic Highway 90e, Pensacola, FL 32503. An interment will immediately follow. A Reception will be held following all services on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
