Karin Mages, 88, of Pensacola, Florida, went home to be with the Lord. She was born on February 6, 1938, in Bremerhaven, Germany. On August 24, 1960, she married the love of her life, Raymond Mages. They met in Bremerhaven while he was deployed with the United States Navy.
After raising their three children, Karin and Raymond went on to own and operate The Colonial Inn in Pensacola for almost 20 years. Through their dedication and hard work, they built not only a successful business but lasting friendships within the community.
Her family finds comfort in the words of Scripture:
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” (John 11:25 NIV)
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Mages; her son, James Mages; and her daughter, Patricia Marlowe.
Karin’s legacy lives on through her loving family: Her son, Robert Mages (Barbara); Her son-in-law, John Marlowe; Her grandchildren, Stephanie Robbins, Daniel Mages (Carly), and Diane Brown (Derek);
And her cherished great-grandchildren, Dax, Brett, Caroline, and Janie.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
