Leo Daniel Snyder

1937-2015

Leo passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer. He was born in the community of Boones Creek, Tennessee in the Johnson City area. He was an all-star athlete in his local high-school. He joined the Army after graduating which led him to Pensacola Beach, where he met his beautiful wife, Marty. They both worked on Santa Rosa Island, Fort Pickens, a National Park where he ran the campground store. Leo was a huge Tennessee Volunteer Football Fan. He also loved Nascar and walking his dog Sugar. Marty and Leo raised two daughters and were very involved in their lives, coaching their softball team, taking them fishing and camping. They lived like every day was a vacation.

He is proceeded in death by his wife, Margret (Marty) Snyder; and daughter Andrea (Sissy) Snyder.

He is survived by his daughter Angela Snyder; his brother Ross Snyder and many relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 09, 2015 with services beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
