Lloyd Elmer Chandler, Jr. “Jack” age 79, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went home to the Lord Friday, February 26, 2010. Jack was born in Peterman, AL and Graduated Class of 1950 from Pensacola High School. He met his devoted wife to be Martha, at the age 16. They married in 1951 and raised six children. Jack is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha (Nugent), four sons Steve (Linda) Terry (Barbara), Jack (Kathleen) and Gary, two daughters Cindy Boardman (Larry) and Bonnie Collins (Marcus), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, four Brothers Gerald (Marilyn ), Michael (Sue), Greg and Phillip and his step mother Mary Chandler.He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Elmer, Sr. and Elizabeth Elvira (Cooper), and a half brother, Ronald Chandler.Jack was blessed to a member of the loving church family at Beach Haven Baptist Church. Many thanks go to Pastor Russell Fortney for his daily visits and encouragements during Jack’s month long hospital stay. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday,Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
