Mary Black Gilpin Grace (Blackie)Born Montgomery Al Aug 28 1923 To Ray Belle and Esker Gilpin. Died at Covenant Hospice with her family by her side in Pensacola, Fl. On Mar 28 2016. Preceded in death by; her husband Dave Grace, her parents, Her 8 brothers and sisters. Survived by Jeff (Sally) Grace, Priscilla(Darryll) Grace Keene, David Yoder, Donald Yoder, Erin Case, Matthew(Sharon) Grace, Kristina Grace, and her great- grandchildren. She was a caring and very outgoing person with many friends. Her most favorite activity was going to the beach. She loved the sun on her face, the sand in her toes, the wind in her hair and the smell of the salt water. Mary loved to garden, dance, and play tennis. She was always ready with a smile and with a laugh. Her greatest love of all were her children and grandchildren who she cared for until the end. Many thanks to all the staff at Carpenters Creek, to the wonderful Staff in the emergency room at Sacred Heart Hospital and the caring staff at Covenant Hospice Inpatient facility at West Florida Hospital. Family will receive friends Friday, April 1, 2016 beginning at noon with the funeral service following at 1pm at the chapel at Bayview Memorial Park.
