Mary Jane Dubs

1937 - 2010

Mary Jane Dubs passed away on Saturday, August 14, at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Claires Hospital, Dover, N.J. Born Mary Jane Patshy on November 9, 1937 in Glossa Scopelos, Greece, she lived in Annandale, N.J. for the past 30 years.

She was a wonderful wife and mother whose ready smile and laughter touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was devoted to her family, but she also cherished her artistic talent. After her children, it was one of the greatest joys of her life. Her interests were many, but it is her oil paintings that still grace the homes of relatives, friends and strangers across the country.

She leaves behind her husband, Ted of Annandale, N.J; son, Billy of Pensacola, FL; son, Paul of Miami Beach, FL; daughter, Sissy, of Daphne, AL; daughter, Tonya of San Jose, CA; she has 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She had one predeceased brother, Steve and three sisters; Katie and Kerasia of Glossa, Greece and Ann of Pensacola, FL. She had many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her acquaintances and friends were countless and she readily made new ones wherever she went. All who knew her will feel a true loss.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
