She lived in Pensacola for many years and was a member of East Hill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She moved to Gulf Breeze in the early 70's and was a member of the Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing Bridge and other hobbies - especially gardening in her yard on the bay.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Pierce Smith, two sisters and seven brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat Heineman (Joe); son, Rick Smith (Suzanne); grandchildren, Ashley Heineman (Gavin), Hollin Cook (Jon), John Pierce Smith (Rosamond), Jameson Smith, Elizabeth Smith; great grandchildren, Mary Grace Cook, Anna Cook, Geneva Dawson and Grover Smith; brother, David White and sisters, Pauline Smith and Shirley Bryars.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with graveside services to follow Bayview Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 09, 2017.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church or Wounded Warriors.
