He was a crane operator by trade and absolutely loved spending time with his family, whom he took excellent care of. He was the kind of man that would help anyone he could. Loved his dogs, the late Savannah and Tink and Roxy and Charlie. Matt could always brighten someone's day with his funny demeanor.
Matt was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Paulette Berg.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Jennifer Marie Greenwood, whom he met when they were just teenagers, together they had two sons, Jonathan Matthew Berg and Joshua Michael Berg. He is also survived by his father, Ricky Oval Berg, sister, Carmen Guthrie, niece, Amanda Berg and nephew, Allen Espinoza.

A Visitation for Matthew will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, FL 32534. A Funeral Service will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM. A burial will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens, Pensacola, FL.
