

Myrtle Louise Rivers Nobles, "Nanaw", 91 of Pensacola passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Royal Palm Retirement Center in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Myrtle was born in Pensacola, Florida, September 2, 1921. She was the oldest of eight children and grew up in the Gull Point area of Pensacola. She married Roscoe Nobles and they raised three daughters. Myrtle worked and managed several local businesses. She was an active member of Heights Baptist church where she taught Sundayschool classes and sang in the choir. She was also active in the local schools her daughters attended. Myrtle loved her family, gardening, sewing, cooking, singing, dancing, and fishing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her joy in life was experienced by all who were blessed to know her.
Myrtle is survived by her daughters, Shelby Villar (Emanuel), Carol Sagebiel (Charlie), and Joy Simpson (Troy); 9 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 3 brothers (3 sister-in- laws), 3 sisters (1 brother-in-law).
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am & Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Reception will be held at the funeral home after burial. Pall bearers will be her great grandsons.
