Nancy Sue Crockett, age 80, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at home with her family. Nancy was born August 15, 1940 in Nebo, Illinois to the late Edgar Sidwell and Emma Pruitt Sidwell.
In August of 1976 she moved to Pensacola, Florida from Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Nancy worked for some time at the Navy Exchange as a cashier. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Sidwell and Emma Pruitt; brothers, Cletus, John, Lyndle, Richard, and Mauricedean Sidwell; and sisters, Margie Kelley, and Mary Clenndenny.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Lee Crockett; son, Todd (Becca) Crockett; daughter, Lisa (William Jr.) Raulerson; Sister, Jane (Jim) Herndon; granddaughters, Sara Crockett, Amy (Chris) Moody; grandsons, Brandon Crockett and Ryan Birch; great granddaughter, MacKenzie; and several nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Nancy will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508.
