

As a young man, Noel proudly served in the United States Army. He was highly intelligent and a wonderful salesman, spending his career working in heavy refrigeration and supermarket products. Noel became very talented with his hands, designing and visualizing innovative business designs. He patented two creative refrigeration products and owned and operated Noel Brown Associates in Jacksonville, FL for over 40 years, along with a manufacturing company that serviced Winn-Dixie, specializing in fiberglass supermarket products.
Noel loved boating, fishing, and spending time on the water. He enjoyed woodworking when he was able and loved spending time with and helping his family. As an avid college football fan, Noel was also a die-hard Alabama fanatic.
Noel is preceded in death by his parents, Upton and Fannie Brown; as well as his siblings, Thomas Brown, Mary Stephenson, Sue Craig, JoAnn Beevers and Willie Carwile. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Brown; his daughters, Deborah Ansbro and Caren Barrere; grandchildren, Stephanie Ansbro and Jeffrey Jackson (Kate); two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several other family members.

Visitation will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, located at 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, FL, on March 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow at the same location at 12:00 pm.
