

Born in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, she was the daughter of Fatie Wood and Ethel Mims and was later adopted by Paulino (Pancho) Reyes. Omey was a devoted Christian whose faith was an important part of her life.
She had a deep love for creativity and found joy in many crafts, including painting, jewelry design, and ceramics. She also had a special appreciation for plants and birds, which brought her great happiness throughout her life. She will be remembered as the lighthearted and loving matriarch of the Ogden family.
She is survived by her brother, Jechonias (Karen), and her daughters, Tammie (Ronald), Donna (Timothy), and Terry (Rich); her grandchildren, Phillip (Emily), Orey, Richard (Anna), and Tyke; and her great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Gracie, and Nathan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her siblings, Eugene, Ruby, and Wilmer; and her beloved granddaughter, Marli.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will begin at 10:30 a.m.
