

Oscar was a member of First Baptist Church of Cantonment and a Choir member. With a good friend Mr. Wynn Dungan, my choir buddy and fraternity brother. Oscar taught Sunday School for a number of years. Covenant Hospice Volunteer. He was a member of The Sons of American Revolution, Pensacola Chapter. Served as chapter President 2005-06; was a member of The Sons of Confederate Veterans, Mallory Camp 1315; The American Legions, Morrison Post 33; U.S. Naval Institute, Air and Space, Served in the U.S. Nave in World War II with an Honorable Discharge. Was employed by Federal Civil Services as an Aircraft Mechanic General and worked in The Technical Date Section of The Aeronautical Engineering Division of A&R, O&R, and NARF for many years; after retiring with 31 years of service. He went to work for the Escambia County School Board for thirteen years.
Oscar is preceded in death by his parents Oliver F and Veneda M Franklin Bellamy, second wife Stella M Gable Bellamy, ex-wife Elise Ruth Gebhart, daughter Alison R. Bellamy, two sons; Alvin F. Bellamy and Anthony Russell Bellamy. Also preceded in death by his sister Mary Elizabeth Bellamy Bowlden, brothers James Franklin Bellamy, Harvey D. Bellamy (Ann) .
He is survived by his son Alan W. Bellamy, granddaughter Crystal Ca-ren Bellamy Richburg, sister Betty Joyce Bellamy Good (Bill), . Ten nieces and nephews: Gary, Sandy, Billy, Randy, Bobby, Debby, Kathy, Karen, Sonny and Elaine, along with three step daughters, Brenda Reid, Mary Wilburn (ED) and Freada Dillion (Joe).
Services have been entrusted to Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 1985 W. Nine Mile Rd, Pensacola, Fl 32534. Visitation Friday May 21, 2021 1:30-2pm @ Crosses Pavilion, with Service to follow at 2pm.
