Patricia Ann Caughey

Patricia Ann Scott Caughey, age 88, of Milton, Florida passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in the loving arms of her daughter after a brief illness. She was born in 1934 to Altha and Ralph Scott in Hadley, Pennsylvania. She met and married the love of her life in 1958 and relocated to Pensacola where they eventually started there own successful insurance agency. After retirement she enjoyed crafting, shopping, traveling and was always "running the roads". She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved spending time with family. Her life was filled with heartaches as she suffered the loss of her three beloved sons, Kenneth Caughey in 1963, Daniel Caughey in 2004 and Randy Caughey in 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, spouse and many nieces and nephews. Left to grieve is her daughter, Autumn Caughey (Thompson); son in law, Dr. Randy Thompson; grandchildren, Kenny, Michelle, Alicia, Dustin, Molly and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Scott Rictor, Wesley Harvell, Rich Harvell, Allen Revillosa, Brayden Revillosa and Don Copeland. Reverend James Carter will be officiating followed by words of comfort by Dr. Randy Thompson. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Patricia's name to Humane Society of Pace or the charity of your choice. A Visitation for Patricia will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway 90e, Pensacola, FL 32503, followed by a Funeral Service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
