She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 14th 1938, to Verl and Patricia Peterson. After graduation from Bingham High School she served her country in the U.S. Navy.
She was preceded in death by her oldest son Terry Alton and her parents, Verl and Patricia Peterson. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Alton D. Tharp, sons Thomas Alvin (Debbie) and Tracy Allen (Bonnie), her brothers Rick and Bud Peterson and one sister Sherry Norman, eleven grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
The family will have visitation on Saturday June 18th at 2:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Funeral Home on New Warrington Road. Service immediately to follow. Internment at Barrancas National Cemetery, Monday the 20th at 10:15 a.m.
