Pat was born September 16, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana to George Robert Heineman, Sr. and Leota Williamson Heineman. After graduating from Anderson High School in Anderson, Indiana, Pat attended and graduated from the Indiana Business College. On Easter Sunday, April 06, 1947 she married the love her life, Norman Thompson. They were happily married for 55 years, until Norman's death. Pat was an avid card player and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She loved playing Bridge at the Bayview Senior Citizens Center with her friends. Her greatest joy was game time with her family. She worked as a secretary in the insurance industry and has been retired for 41 years.
Pat is survived by her son, Ronald Thompson and wife, Peggy; daughter, Carol Bradshaw and husband, Don; daughter, Cathy Thompson; grandchildren, Ronald Thompson and wife Dori, Scott Bradshaw and wife Kim, Brett Thompson and wife Shannon, Russell Bradshaw, Kelly Roper and husband Jason, Jennifer Montiel and husband Nate and Christopher Thompson and wife Bonnie; 18 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, Friday, July 05, 2024 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with services to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
