

Patti traveled all over the United States and found home to be in Florida where she said she found her real happiness. When she arrived in Ft Walton Beach she found true happiness. There she attended Fort Walton Beach High School, home of the Vikings. She was a member of the Keyettes, a High School service organization, which in her Senior year became President. Her work in Keyettes generated many lifelong friends. This is also where she met and later married her husband Lou.
Patti dedicated her time and energy to supporting several meaningful causes, including the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, Wounded Warrior, Toys for Tots, and many other charitable organizations. Her big heart and compassion for those in need were evident in every aspect of her life.
Patti worked tirelessly throughout her life, both professionally and in service to others. In her corporate career, as a Relief Society President, or as a Young Women’s Leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she brought compassion and dedication to every role. Her warmth and attention to others touched countless lives and led to many cherished lifelong friendships.
She is survived by her husband Lou Leonard, her two sons Shawn Patrick\wife Kellie and Christopher Ryan\wife Courtney, their three grandchildren Austin, Brady, and Quinn, and her siblings Terri Jean Smith, Scott Wayne Kelly, and Shauna Lee Curtis.
The funeral services will be conducted at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1753 Sea Lark Lane, Navarre, FL 32566. Family Viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00am followed by Public Viewing from 10:00 to 11:00am. Formal services will be conducted in the chapel from 11:30 to 12:30pm. Procession to Barrancas Cemetery, Pensacola will be for family only.
In lieu of flowers Patti would have preferred you donate to the St Jude Children’s Hospital for Cancer Research.
