Paul Stanley Doizé Jr.

Paul Stanley Doizé, Jr of Pace, FL passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 27, 1932, in New Orleans, LA. He had a loving family life and was very close to his grandparents who lived across the street from his home.

His career started at Brookley Air Force Base in Mobile, AL, then he relocated his family to Pensacola, FL in 1967 to start a new career at the Naval Aviation Depot where he retired in 1989.

His hobbies included water skiing, golf, tennis, bowling and furniture upholstering. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Shirley K. Doizé, parents Paul & Mildred Doizé; sister Betty Doizé.

He is survived by his sons, Paul S. Doizé III (Paula) and Michael A. Doizé; daughters, Pat McVey (Denis) and Jean Cochran (Greg); sisters, Barbara Bordelon and Cindy Riley; many nieces and nephews; also, 6 Grandchildren as well as 8 Great Grandchildren.

He was a very loving husband and father. He greatly enjoyed being around his family during holidays and special occasions. Paul had numerous pets throughout the years and dearly loved each of them.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Craig Smith as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, is entrusted with arrangements.
