Paul M Parks, 78, of Pensacola, passed away on the 19th of January 2018 at West Florida Hospital, Pensacola, Fl.

Visitation and memorial service will be conducted on the 23rd of January 2018 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, from 4-6 pm. He will be inurned at Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors on the 15th of June, Father’s Day weekend.

Paul was born in North Little Rock, Ar to Manuel Parks and Pauline Healy on the 11th of January 1940. He married Sarah A Webb on the 8th of August 1964. He graduated from North Little Rock High School and Memphis State Technical College with an AA in Business. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, where he served for 23 years and retired in 1985. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who spent as much time as he could on the golf course and never in his life met a stranger. He loved to tell as well as listen to a good story any time he could.

Paul is preceded in death by his father Manuel, mother Pauline and brother Donnie.

He is survived by his wife Sarah, brothers Jerry Parks and Lynn Healy, sisters Kim Brandenburg and Barbara Klomfas, children Richard Parks, David Parks and Tracy Hodges as well as five grand-children, Bryan Parks, Brandon Parks, Brett Parks, Kelsey Hodges and Kaylee Hodges as well as many nieces and nephews..

Donations may be given in lieu of flowers to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
