Ralph Frank Latta

Born on July 29, 1932, in Elrama, PA, Ralph was the son of William Latta and Anna (Gulla) Latta. He graduated from Clariton, PA High School. He married Patricia Morris on February 7, 1953. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage before Pat’s death in 2015.

Ralph retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp. in 1990 after a 30 year career. He moved from Monroeville, Pennsylvania in 1968 to Pensacola to help open the new Westinghouse Nuclear Components Division where he held various positions in manufacturing and human resources.

He was a member of the Stephen Bayard Masonic Lodge #526100F and was a member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, Ralph had been preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Pat) Latta, his daughters Debra Jane and Cheryl Anne and brothers William (Billy) Latta and Lawrence (Larry) Latta.

Ralph is survived by his son Ralph (Paula) Latta of Budapest, Hungary, daughter Patti (Don) Roark of Gulf Breeze, and grandsons LCDR Sean M. Roark of Sneads Ferry, NC and Devin S. (Kate) Roark of Cleveland, Ohio.

A Memorial Service will he help Monday, May 1st at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 with the service at 11:00. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall for family and friends. Interment will be at 1:15 pm in Bayview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, Senior Adult ministry, 75 Fairpoint Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL 32561.
