

Ramona Jean Mulleins-Forman, age 58, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away on Saturday, July 5th, 2025. She was born to loving parents, Robert Kester Mulleins and Donna Marousek Mulleins in the city of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Ramona was loved by many and will be greatly missed as her impact on life stretched beyond cities and throughout the world. Not only has her life impacted those around her through her accomplishments in the US Army as a Colonel(R), but also as a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a College Nursing Professor. She was always using her knowledge to not only educate those around her, but also better future generations of those who followed behind her.
No matter what she was doing, she always exemplified what it meant to be a leader and lead with compassion, care, and a smile on her face. She had a way about her that allowed people to not only feel comfortable but loved in her presence.
Her love for her family was insurmountable as she eventually found her way to Gulf Breeze, Florida to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She spent every moment she could being with her community, family, and friends. She loved to be outdoors and could often be found outside hunting, spending time with her fur babies (Nikki and Odin), going to church, working on her Jeep, diving, going to Disney, and her most favorite - spending time with her grandbabies. She was always planning a new adventure or trip with someone she loved.
Her legacy is that of courage, strength, compassion, and love. She was a true example that there is nothing a woman cannot do! Warrior eternal may we never forget! “We do not fear, we do not falter, we do not yield!”
She is survived by her sons, John-Todd Van Hove (Rebekah Van Hove) – Navarre, FL and Galen Van Hove – Warner Robins, GA; Her daughters, Jessica Foreman – Fortson, GA (Kieth Glisson) and Katelyn Foreman – Columbus, GA. Her grandchildren, Wednesday, Jetson, Alexsys, Shyloh, Taylor. Her father, Robert Kester Mulleins, and siblings, Rhonda Kersey, Rose Payne and Ralph Mulleins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 17th at 4:00pm CST at Community Life Church in Gulf Breeze, Florida. 4115 Soundside Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563. Her final resting place will be in Arlington National Cemetery with a date to be determined.
