Robert Wayne Brown (Bob) , 72 of Cantonment, passed away, Tuesday January 25, 2011. He was born in Washington, D. C on July 27, 1938. Robert was retired from the City of Pensacola as an Automotive Mechanic. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Robert enjoyed wood working and going to auctions.

He is survived by his wife; Barbara Silcox Brown, Two sons; Robert Wayne Brown, Jr. and Daniel Thomas Brown and wife Debra. Three step children Christine Fincher and husband James, Michael Wayne Merritt and wife Judy and Denise Merritt.

One brother; Warren Thomas Brown and wife Betty of Fairfax, VA. and sister Carol Ann Bell of Springfield, MO. Mother-In-Law; Ellen Silcox, Sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Linda and John Hester and sister-in law Cindy Hinton. Two Grandchildren and 8 Step grandchildren with two great grandchildren. Also many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 28, 2011 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Eastern Gate Memorial

Funeral Home with interment to follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Covenant Hospice Inpatient and Palliative Care Center.

Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
