He was born in Gulfport, Mississippi. He served twenty-one years in the U.S. Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin A and Ellen B Rodriguez.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Brenda; their two children: Angela (Brent) Porter and Jeremy Rodriguez; grandchildren: Holly Rodriguez, Trevor (Victoria) Rodriguez, Hayley Rodriguez, Heidi (Reese) Nichols, and Trent Porter; seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Pat (Javier) Gracia; his brother, Irvin Jr. (Laura) Rodriguez; and two yorkies, Charlie & Andy.
The funeral service will be held on March 9, 2026, at 11 am at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508.
