

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Richardson, Jr., brother Dayton Spaulding, brother Willis Spaulding and sister Marion Spaulding.
She is survived by those who loved her dearly, including her daughter Rose Anne Stokes and favorite son in law Steve Stokes, son William “Bill” Richardson, III and her favorite daughter in law Anita Richardson, her grandchildren Steven M. Stokes and David (Kara) Stokes and a host of nieces and nephews. Her family will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
Sandra graduated from Ocala High School in the class of 1956, and attended Shorter college in Rome, GA and the University of Florida. While at Shorter, she was a member of the Polynymnian Society and the Cotillion Club. She was active in student government affairs at the University of Florida. She also participated in various musical activities in college and appeared on the Ted Mack Original Amateur Hour and the Arthur Godfrey Talent Scout Show in New York.
Sandra met the love of life on New Year’s Eve 1958. They married in August 1959. Being a wife and outstanding homemaker, Domestic Engineer,were some of her greatest accomplishments.
A committal service for Sandra “Mom” will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery.
Please meet at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Rd, Pensacola, F, 32506 between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM to be a part of the funeral procession to Barrancas National Cemetery.
