Terri L Noell

Terri was born in Orlando, Florida, on December 20, 1953, to Ray McMillan (dec.) and Bunny (Brinkley) Richards (dec.). While attending Mercer University, she met the love of her life, Michael Noell, Sr. (dec.), and later continued her studies at the Florida State University Fine Arts program. After marrying Mike in August 1973, Terri earned a Bachelor of Arts from Columbus State University in 1975. Later, in 2006, she earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida.

From 2004 until her retirement in 2023, Terri was a dedicated elementary art teacher with the Escambia County School District, primarily at West Pensacola Elementary. She also spent her summers teaching at Pensacola State College’s Kids College. Outside of the classroom, Terri enjoyed creating book sculptures, wreaths, and gift baskets as well as spending time with family and friends. She loved traveling, was a lifelong FSU fan, and a devoted member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Pensacola.

Terri is survived by her children: Tiffany Noell (Becky Thompson) and their children of Savannah, GA; Michael Noell, Jr. (Sonya) and their children of Pensacola; Steph Noell (Randy Milholland) and their child of Los Angeles, CA; and Robert Noell (Brooke Tillman) of Pensacola. She is also survived by her sister, Stacye (Simmerson) Gallo of Atlanta, GA, and her aunt, Marion Hewett of Winter Park, FL.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with a celebration of life to follow. Please wear bright colors to honor Terri and her love of color.
