Walter Rutherford Jr.

Walter Rutherford, Jr., was born on March 14, 1940 in Pensacola, Florida. Now he is an Angel watching over his family. He unexpectedly passed away on December 31, 2014 after a very courageous battle with his heart. He was a very strong man!! He was in the construction industry for over 50 years and retired against all his might in 2006. He owned Rutherford and Son's Construction Company. His passion was fresh water fishing especially on the Tennasaw River and went as often as he could. He loved catching bream, but his favorite to eat was fried mullet. He also loved riding in the woods looking for deer just to see them.

He was preceded in death by his father Walter Rutherford, Sr., his mother Ollie Mae Rutherford and his son Gary Walter Rutherford and most of his siblings. He is survived by his son Rodney D. Rutherford, his daughter's Michelle R. Harper (Elton), Angelique Rutherford and Tiffany R. Albright (Merle), his brother Tommy Rutherford, his sister Shirley Tittle, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He will be missed very, very much but we know he is not hurting any longer...we love you Daddy always! Pallbearers will be Rodney Rutherford, Kendall Rutherford, Elton Harper, Merle Albright, Tommy Rutherford and Richard Ghigliotty.
