Wanda Mae Skidmore went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2015. She was born in Marietta, Ohio June 19, 1922 and after retirement as a loan officer in Parkersburg, WV, she and her husband retired to Cantonment, FL. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Freda Evans and was predeceased by her husband of 57 years Edward.
She is survived by two daughters, Ann Rose of Simpsonville, SC and Sandra Kury of Ft. Myers, FL; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She spent her career in banking and retired as a loan officer. She was very active in church work, Professional Business Women, Rebecca Lodge, her Sunday School Class at Olive Baptist Church and doing volunteer work at voting pools and the Baptist Medical Park.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
