Wayne Michael English, 75, a longtime resident of Milton, FL, passed away peacefully in his home on December 22, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born in Sharon, PA to parents Ralph Brooks and Rose English. As a young man, Wayne went to Sharpsville High school. After high school, Wayne joined the U.S. Navy and served his country for four years.
The service brought him to Pensacola, FL, where he met his wife to be, Debby (Burris) English and started a family.
Wayne made a 28 year career for himself in Telecommunications with AT&T and Bellsouth, working multiple positions in the field. After his retirement at the age of 52, Wayne continued to enjoy his family, especially his granddaughters, deer hunting, gardening, family reunions, going to the casinos and drag races. Most recently, Wayne enjoyed helping his son with his election campaign.
Wayne loved his family and was very proud of them all.
Wayne is survived by his son, Jason (Mary) English; grandchildren, Sydney, Grace, step-grandson; Matt, and his daughter; Morgan, siblings; Kathy (Ron) Radick, Dan (Bobbie) English, and Karen Pauley and 2 nephews and their families, Nick Radick and Bret English. Also survived by his brother in law; William (Marli) Burris. He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah English; his mother; Rose English, and brother, John English.
A visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 30th at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel at 1:00PM, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00PM. Burial will take place at Bayview Memorial Park following services.
