She was born June 27, 1923 in Peoria, a daughter of William and Maria Kuntz Jump, she married Robert John Carlson in 1946 in Peoria. He preceded her in death in 1975 in Peoria.
She was also preceded in death by one son, John Robert, one infant granddaughter, Tonya, and two sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Selma “Sallie” (Gary) Jones of Creve Coeur, Marcie (David) Hittle of Peoria; one sister, Nellie Howard of AZ; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and of Catholic faith.
Alberta was an avid Cub fan and cow collector. She loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Chaplin Timothy Mitchell will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the chapel. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
