Anthony Edward Harris III

Anthony Edward Harris III of Peoria Heights was born on May 31, 1989, and passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, May 9, 2016. He was the first of three children. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; his paternal grandfather, Anthony Edward Harris, that he shared a name with; and one great-grandmother. Surviving are his parents, Anthony and Danielle; his brothers, Justin (Kayleigh) and Lance (Lacey); his grandmother, Rita Harris; his best friend, Collin and Kristen Mason; and the love of his life for 10 years, Jessika Owens. Also surviving is his unborn nephew, Carter Ryan Harris. His niece, who he was known by as "the fix-it guy," Summer Rose Harris, also survives. He was a graduate of PHHS in 2007. Anthony and his father owned Harris & Sons painting and seamless gutters. He had the ability to light up a room and find humor in any situation. His heart was as big as his smile. He had a passion for many things and loved as hard as he played. His loss has devastated an entire community and left a big hole in his family. Funeral services for Anthony will be at 5 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will follow from 6 to 8 p.m. Family and friends will celebrate his life on Saturday, May 21, 2016, beginning at Hangovers, 629 East Lake Avenue, Peoria Heights.
