

He was born July 1, 1931 in Naples, IL to Luke L. and Jeannette (Hale) Little. He married Carol J. Arnold June 8, 1952 in Bluffs, IL. She survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter Cathy (Steve) Turbett of Bloomington, and one son Larry (Janice) Little of Peoria. Four grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Also surviving are two step-brothers, Clarence (Pat) Huseman of Dwight, and Virgil (Doris) Huseman of Bluffs. His parents, one brother, one step grandson and one step brother preceded him in death.
Berkley was a US Army veteran attaining the rank of Staff Sargent. He drove a transport truck for American Oil Company for 15 years and then worked as a Security Officer at Caterpillar Inc. retiring December 1, 1995.
He was a member of Eastside Bible Church in Morton. He also was a member of United Plant Guards #235; United Auto Workers #974 and Teamsters Local #627.
Berkley was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a great friend to many and will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel with Rev. Steve Weber officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the chapel. Burial with Military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Eastside Bible Church.
