

She was born December 26, 1935 in Columbus, OH to Byron and Indiana (Little) Davidson. She married Joe Robbins on February 5, 1955 in Anniston, AL. He died in Champaign, IL in 1990.
Surviving are her children Patty L. (Bob) Bardeau of Cincinnati, OH, Peggy L. (Woody) Street of Litchfield, IL, Ryan Robbins and his Fiancé Katie Vance of Peoria; two brothers, Clifford (Evelyn) Davidson and Charles (Rosemarie) Davidson both of Kodiak, AK; two sisters, Joann Mechler of San Antonio, TX, and Kay Allen of Portland, OR; eight grandchildren David, Beth, Darren, Eric, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Julia; and two great-grandchildren, Anna and Maisy.
Bertha served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. She played the Alto-Saxophone for the U.S. Army Corps Band from 1954 to 1955.
She worked for many different employers, including Solo Cup in Champaign, IL, she was a realtor, lunch lady for Fisher High School, line worker for Design and Manufacturing, and a dental assistant.
She was also very active in her personal life, serving on the Board of Trustees for Fisher Township, serving as a Girl Scout Leader, had a coin and stamp collection, enjoyed bowling, and was a member of Richwoods Community Church.
A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Powell will officiate. Cremation will be accorded. Burial of her ashes will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign, IL at a later date.
