Betty Jean Hasler

She was born on April 28, 1932 in Noble, IL, the daughter of Russell & Elsie (Travis) Patterson. Betty married Harold L. Hasler on September 2, 1950 in Noble, IL. Betty and Harold moved to Peoria in 1960. She worked for the Department of Agriculture, Social Security, Dr. Clayton and Great Plains Orthopedics. Betty retired in 2009. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Peoria.

Betty was preceded in death by her twin brother Bill Patterson; daughter in law, Janis Hasler; grandsons Christopher Hasler and Scott Peters; granddaughter Sarah Peters; brother in laws Robert Ulm & Alvin Conner and sister in law Louetta Conner. She is survived by her husband Harold Hasler, daughter, Jane (and Mike) Peters of Bartonville, IL, her two sons Roger Hasler of Bartonville, IL and Rodney (and Susan) Hasler of Escondido, CA. She is further survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be Monday, May 5, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church in Peoria, Illinois. The Rev. Karen Merrick will officiate. A visitation will be from 3 PM until 6 PM Sunday at the Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria and 30 minutes prior to services at the Church on Monday. Burial will be in the Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or the OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home of Peoria.
