Betty Jane Hill, 89, of Peoria, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1924 in Peoria to Seymour and Helen (Mackey) Block. She married Marvin W. Hill on May 8, 1943 in Peoria. He died January 12, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her infant daughter Janell, 1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild. Surviving are her daughter Sue (Dave) Pleasant of Peoria, son Marvin Jack (Faye) Hill of Peoria, 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Betty was a homemaker. Her biggest Joy was her family. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Peoria. Monsignor Mark Merdian will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Easter Seals.
