Byron was born December 20, 1962 in Cheyenne, Wyoming the son of William and Ruth Flowers Brown. He married Ava Covington. He later married Elizabeth Curtis. She survives.
He is also survived by six children, Mario Brown of Texas, Byron (Christal) Brown Jr. of Cleveland, OH, Sandra Brown of Peoria, Brandon Brown of Chicago, Isiah Brown and Delisha Brown both of Peoria; his mother, Ruth Brown of Atlanta, GA; five brothers, Robert Buford of Berkeley, CA, Arthur Buford of Kansas City, MO, William Brown III of Plano, TX, Michael Brown of Peoria and Brian Brown of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Theoeora Grayer of Milwaukee, WI, and Eva Annette Brown of Austell, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved him and will miss him.
Byron was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
Byron was a driver for City Link in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to services. Elder Marvin Porter will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
