She was born March 31, 1932, in Jacksonville, Illinois to Carl and Laverna (Schuessler) Arnold. Carol married Berkley Little in Bluffs, Illinois on June 8, 1952. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2014. They were married for 62 years.
Carol is also preceded in death by her parents, one half-brother and one step-grandson.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Janice) Little of Peoria, daughter, Cathy (Steve) Turbett of Bloomington; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A member of Eastside Bible Church in Morton, Carol poured her heart into every aspect of church life. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and volunteered.
Carol was also an excellent seamstress, known for her alterations for friends and church pageants. She found joy in the simple, meaningful pleasures of life—quilting, knitting, playing piano, working in her yard.
She embraced her role as a housewife with grace and purpose. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A visitation for Carol will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. The funeral service will immediately follow at 10:30 AM, Rev. Steve Weber will officiate. Burial will conclude at Parkview Cemetery, Peoria.
Memorials may be made in Carol's name to the Eastside Bible Church, Morton.
