

He was born April 1, 1952 in Harlingen, TX to Narciso and Antonia (Padilla) Rosalez Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Alma, Juanita and Grace.
Surviving is his ex-wife, Debora “Rosebud” Greenwood, his girlfriend of many years, Monica Boyer, four children, Tommy (Linda) Greenwood of Peoria, Nikki (Chico) Garcia of Peoria, Josh (Cassie) Rosalez of Bloomington and Ky (Justin) Ballard of East Peoria, twelve grandchildren, Aubrianna, Owen, Isaiah, Demetrius, Jillian, Jenna, Eric, Jacob, Tayveon, Kayden, Elio and Cameron, two sisters, Nelly (Faustino) Garza of Peoria and Yolanda (Alberto) Casteneda of Rock Falls; six brothers, Jose Padilla of Ohio State, Jaime (Margaritta) Garcia of Rock Falls, Jorge (Fina) Garcia of Mexico, Raul (Lazarta) Garcia of Rock Falls, and Evaristo Rosalez of Franklin Grove
Cheech was a jack of all trades, an avid fisherman, motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
A visitation will be Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 10 to noon, with a celebration of life service starting at noon at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
