During the summer while I was at band camp I got this picture sent to me of mom and two of her best friends. They sent me this photo bc they came to their appointment and I wasn’t there to visit. Bob and Amy are the sweetest people that mom loved. She would do anything for these two. And honestly, she would give anyone the shirt off her back. She loved everyone she crossed paths with. So here’s this sweet memory from my summer!

To the family, we saw the obituary of Cheri, so sorry for your loss. I knew we were related, via the Lacock name. We did not know Cheri,  but we did know her grandparents, Bob and Musetta, our cousins, wonderful people. Our sympathies go out to all the family.

So saddened to hear the news of Cheri’s passing. We were great friends in high school and i have so many fond memories with her. She was so fun to be with and laughs were never in short supply when we were together. I will always remember Cheri as a  fun,  beautiful, sweet and kind person.  My sincerest condolences to her family and dear friends. 

Cheri was such an amazing woman. She was so talented, strong, funny, brilliant, beautiful and caring. She was also one of the best nail technicians I have ever had the honor of meeting. The world will be different without this amazing light, but it will always remember the spontaneous, lifetime loving, fiery soul that she was. Cheri had an amazing family, especially her daughter, Savannah. When i use to get my nails done, i would bring my daughter over, and Savannah played with her the entire time. They giggled and played, while Cheri and i talked about how we were going to fix the worlds problems. Everything about Cheri will be missed, and from here on out, i promise to smile and appreciate the time i had with her. We love you Cheri, may you rest in peace.

Although I never had the honor of meeting Cheri, I felt as if I knew her via Bob's brief, yet endearing comments and updates about his sister, brother in-law, and niece whenever he and I had time to speak.  A man of few words, except when talking about the Cubs, it was always evident that Bob loved and admired his sister and her family very much!
Bob, I do not have the words to describe how very sorry I am for your loss.  Myself and the rest of your chosen family will be here to support you in any way that we can and want you to know that we love you. 

To my darling daughter Cheri, who was lost to this world on January 8, 2023:
 When you were born, your soul burst forth as a shooting star sprinkling the Heavens with the precious essence of your existence.  You arrived on this Earthly plane in grandeur, all of your life standing before you. Though it was short, you touched the hearts of many with your exuberance, your love, your humor and all that was YOU.  More proud a parent could not be as I am of you.  Wonderful daughter, friend, wife and mother…you excelled at the fullest in all of these.  Your spirit is the beauty and effervescence of us.  
As hard as it is to let you go my darling, the gone befores are exhilirated at your returning to the whole of the evermore.  Your earthly job is done, your heavenly one now begins.  So blessed am I to have been the Mother of such a beautiful, wonderful daughter. 
So fly, my darling angel, fly--and in time, we will all return to be with you.
Mother has loved you with all her heart, a heart which now is shattered.  But you have left behind a caring husband, a sweet  daughter, a beautiful sister and loving brother, and for that I will be forever grateful.  Your memory will sustain me, and I know you will forever be with me.  I love you, my sweet Cheri Ann.

My heart breaks for you and your family. Cheri was a great person. I can’t remember a time in all our school years we didn’t have classes together. We shared a lunch period our junior and senior years and she would always sit with me and make me smile. Her laughter was so infectious.
