

Christopher Lee Sarver, 44, of Bartonville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 2, 1972 in Peoria, Illinois to Patrick and Kathleen (Winters) Sarver. He married Sharon “Sherry” Sullivan on April 28, 2007 in East Peoria, Illinois. She survives. He is also survived by his mother, Kathleen Sarver of West Peoria, five children, Jerry (Kristen) Fischer of Peoria Heights, Shane and Nathon Fischer of Bartonville, Tracy (Amber) Ray of Peoria and Aleisha Behymer at home. He has nine grandchildren, Shane, Ann Elise, Sara, Naomi, Lucas, Ayrian, Willow, Camille and Nevaeh; one brother David Sarver of West Peoria. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and lots of special friends. A special thanks to Robert and Susan Bodtke, Britni and Josh. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and one granddaughter, Emily Ray. Christopher formerly owned and operated Sarver’s West Peoria Hardware. He worked for 22 years at the Peoria Journal Star, last working as a warehouse manager. He later worked as a warehouse manager for R. J. Distributing, last working in December of 2015. He was a member of the St. Jude Council of the Knights of Columbus and the Peoria Catholic Dartball League. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church of Peoria. A celebration of life will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel. Dr. Scott Estes will be the celebrant. A gathering will be from 3pm until 7pm Friday at the Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel, with a rosary at 6:30pm. Burial will be in the Parkview Cemetery.
