

Clarice Joanne Flynt, 83, of Peoria, passed away peacefully August 27, 2014 at The Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Clarice was born February 21, 1931, in Peoria, to Carl and Pearl (Stoecker) Levine. She married William Flynt on September 25, 1955 in Peoria. He survives. She is also survived by two daughters; Mary (Michael) Davis of East Peoria, Linda (Stephen) Davis of Little America, Grandchildren; Jason, Crystal, Tony, Stephanie, Chris, Tiffany, and fifteen Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brother; Earl Levine, and two sisters; Wilma Bauer and Mary Marion. Clarice worked for Central Supply at Proctor Hospital, where she retired from. She was a lifetime member of the Peoria Heights Post 2602 VFW Women’s Auxiliary, where she served as past president and treasurer. She was also an active member of Eastern Star where she also served as president. Clarice was of the Methodist Faith. She thoroughly enjoyed painting, dancing at “The Hub” and traveling with her husband. She loved to spend time with all of her family including her children and grandchildren, and especially the love of her life; her husband. A Funeral service will be held at 4 PM, Saturday August 30, 2014 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Rev. Bob DeBolt will officiate. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Clarice may be made to The Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
