He was born July 17, 1941 in Washington, IL to Maurice and Ida (Miller) LeConte. He married Sharon Jane Welton on February 6, 2001 in Las Vegas, NV. She survives along with one brother, Gary (Pat) LeConte of Morton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ray LeConte.
Clark was in the Army Reserves.
He owned and operated several businesses including the old Dairy Queen in East Peoria, two hotels in Peoria, and several apartment complexes.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no public services at this time. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Tunnel To Towers Foundation.
