He was born Sept. 27, 1957 in Peoria to Albert O. and Jane (Gill) Huber.
Survivors include his mother of Washington Christian Village, two brothers: Larry (Mary) Huber of Colorado Springs, Co., Jim Huber of Peoria, four nephews: Jonas, Jared, Josh, Justin Huber, one great-nephew, JJ Huber, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dave will also be greatly missed by his dog, Maci.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1981.
Dave graduated from Woodruff High School in 1976. He worked in Housekeeping at OSF St. Francis Medical Center during the late 1970’s into the early 1980’s. Dave loved sports and was a big fan and supporter of Peoria Rivermen.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Tuesday July 19, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
