She was born May 9, 1958 in Canton, IL the daughter of Robert Wayne and Virginia May Murphy Jones. She married Gary Carr on September 8, 1976. He survives.
Diana is survived by her mother, Virginia Jones; one son, Joseph Carr of Oklahoma; five sisters, Tammy McClellan of Peoria, Dee-Dee (Bill) Cox of Canton, Karen (Glen) Rager of Peoria, Becky (Ryan) Reyling of Dunlap, and Lisa Jones of Peoria; three brothers, Randy Jones of Bartonville, Mark Jones of Washington, and Danny Jones of Bartonville; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, and brother, Robert Jones Jr.
Diana worked at Eagle Food Mart in the floral department until her accident.
She loved interior decorating her families’ homes. Diana always lived life to the fullest.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 am May 19, 2017 at High Bridge Cemetery in Dunfermline, IL. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate.
Memorials may be given to The Salvation Army or TAPS.
