Dominique Christine "Pooh" Guidi

She was born on March 8, 1982 in Peoria, IL to Brad and Willa (Woodson) Guidi with whom she lived with her entire life.

She is survived by her parents; one sister, Tasha (Landon) Guth of Morton; one niece, Lia Guth, and was surrounded by the love of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors.

Dominique was a 2003 graduate of Dunlap High School and worked in Data Entry at Epic for 22 years. She was an avid Chicago Bulls fan and enjoyed bowling with the Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association, and watching her films, with her favorites being Beetlejuice, Beauty and the Beast, Charlotte's Web, Babe and Ferris Buehler’s Day Off. Dominique’s greatest joy was spending time at Epic every day and being with her loving family and amazing friends. She was a regular at the Bradley Lady Braves basketball games with Dad and good friend Jimbo.

Dominique was a force and a fighter her entire life, never backing down from any challenge. She fought to survive, and thrive after being born three months premature at one pound and eleven ounces.

She woke up happy everyday and looked forward to Dad singing “Good Morning to You” as her Grandfather Guidi had for many years.

While at times she challenged us she was never a burden. Her family considered her a true blessing as she taught them to never sweat the small stuff and appreciate the little things in life.

A visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 5 to 8 PM at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. A homegoing service will be at 2 pm on Saturday, October 4 at the funeral home. The Rev. Isaac Greene will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria and a repast will be held at Suite Fire Grille in the Holiday Inn on North Orange Prairie Road in Peoria following graveside services.
