Dorothy M. Ernst

She was born March 10, 1925 in Burlington, IA to Paul and Lillian Marie (Hand) Siens. She married Harold Ernst who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents and five siblings, Robert, Charles, Paul, Ruby, Audrey and son-in-law, Floyd Snodgrass whom took care of her for many years.

Surviving are her three children, Dorothy Mae Snodgrass of Peoria, Harold (Carol) Ernst of Germantown Hills, and Edward James (Gloria) Ernst of Ocoee, FL., seven grandchildren, Christine, Steven, Eric, Laura, Angela, Edward, and David. Also surviving are many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Ruth (Fred) Lantz of Elmwood.

Dorothy worked on the bottling line at Hiram-Walker for many years before retiring. She attended church at First United Methodist Church in Peoria, was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed watching Cardinal's Baseball, crossword puzzles, Sunday dinners and fried chicken.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 16, 2019 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.
