"Juneane" as she liked to be called was born Ella June Morgan at home on July 19, 1928 to James R. and Mattie Lou (Rainey) Morgan in Lavinia, Tennessee.

Over the years June worked for Armour Star, Bergner's and Kroger. She was coordinator of the local chapter of "Sojourn Bears" for cancer survivors. She was so proud of the many hundreds of bears she and the volunteers sewed, stuffed and donated to the numerous cancer survivors and organizations in the Peoria area. June was also a 'Pink" lady volunteer at Proctor hospital for many years.
She was a member of Rome Baptist Church, the Democratic Women's Organization and a proud American that loved her country.
After her husband Jim's passing she stayed busy involved in her church, traveling with friends, volunteering her time and loving her family. In her later years she made friends at Liberty Village, Independence Village and the Grand Regency where she was loved by many.
The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice Care, Nurse Jennifer and all the staff of Washington Senior Living Care for their compassionate care in her final days.
The one thing June's family and friends always knew was how much she loved them. There was never a doubt! No matter what happened in our lives good or bad our mother was there. Mom we know how tired you were and ready for the Lord but we will forever miss you.
She will be laid to rest at a later date beside her husband James at Gibson Memorial Gardens in Gibson, Tennessee.
