Ernest John Staub

Ernest John Staub, 82 of Autumn Lane in Peoria passed away at 2:33 PM on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at Unity Point – Proctor in Peoria. He was born on September 9, 1934 in Peoria to Ernest and Margaret (Lang) Staub. He married Luetta Brown. She preceded him in death in 1998. He was also preceded by his parents, one step Grandchild, and brother Danny Staub.

Ernest later married Margey McCormick, she survives. Also surviving are two daughters Margie (Jack) Cox and Karen (Doug) Mason, two sons Robert Staub and James (JoAnn) Staub; fourteen Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren; two stepsons Mitch (Virginia) McCormick and Jim (Debbie) McCormick, one stepdaughter Rayeanne (Phil) Maher; ten Step-grandchildren and twelve Step-Great Grandchildren; one sister Elvera Thompson and one brother David Staub.

Ernest had been a Plate Maker for International Paper, previous to this he had been a Pressman for Colonial Press. He was a member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Peoria.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday April 14, 2017 at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Pastor Jimmy Knight will officiate. A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church, 5125 Farmington Road, Peoria, at 6:00 PM, also on Friday, April 14. Memorials may be made to his church.
