Eva was born in Garrett, IN to James and Gladys Argubright and married John Wesley Clark on September 10, 1944 in Ft. Wayne, IN. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2005.
Surviving daughters are Janice (Dennis) Haines of Olalla, WA; Alicia (Steve, deceased) Campbell of Portland, OR; Carolyn (Don) Mack of Geneva, IL; and Sharon (Marty) Minnes of Chillicothe, IL. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Upon graduation from Garrett High School, Eva worked for the Office of Price Administration during WWII. Later, she graduated from Illinois Central College and worked as a children’s librarian at Mossville School.
A memorial celebration service will be held at 11am Monday, April 24, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church: 1023 N. 6th Street in Chillicothe, IL.
